Passionate about colour and Mid-Century design, artist Jen Felton runs Happy Retro Furniture from her home studio in the Scottish Borders. She injects new life into furniture by hand painting unique, contemporary designs onto pieces that are in need of attention and colour.

Having always had an interest in art and design and gaining an MA Hons in History of Art & Architectural History, Jen travelled, worked and dabbled in all things crafty until painting her first piece of furniture in 2012.

Jen sources and paints furniture, creating bespoke designs and giving clients something truly unique. She also offers an up-cycling service for furniture you already own that is in need of some TLC.
